OROUNDO Mobile app for iPhone and iPad

Oroundo is the universal Beacon App. Use Oroundo to receive location based information directly on your smartphone.

Beacons are small Bluetooth transmitters, i.g. Installed in museums next to an art object, transmitting the respective audio guide to your smartphone. A very user friendly system, you just need to activate your Bluetooth.

Because of the exact monitoring of beacons around you, Oroundo always provides you automatically the correct information. Oroundo recognizes "house channels” at places of interest. These channels can be subscribed to and be administered directly through the App. Via the menu-function subscribed channels can be used even outside the reach of beacons and they always can be deleted.

Oroundo is mostly applied in museums, where audio guides and other customer information can directly be received on your private smartphone. Other use cases are city tours or location based information for retail customers. Use Oroundo wherever compatible beacons are available and recognized automatically by Bluetooth.

Please note that this app requires a Bluetooth 4.0-compatible device (e.g. Apple iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5C, iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 PLUS, iPad (3rd & 4th generation) iPad mini

Remarks: Continued use of Beacon monitoring running in the background can decrease battery life.
